• Pace can be varied to emulate grass or hard court for tennis courts. The sand levels will vary the bounce of the ball.  However it generally does not bounce as high as a hard court • It can be installed over any existing hard base porous concrete, a previously painted surface, concrete, asphaltic concrete, asphaltic cement or any other base which will not soften when wet
• The sand infill soaks up a large amount of water and play can resume immediately after light rain or when surface water has run off after heavy rain • It has the cool, inviting natural appearance of perfect lawn, enhancing the look of any area
• It is not slippery and dangerous when wet: has good traction and can be played on all year round • Low abrasion prolongs the life of tennis balls and sports shoes: not to mention body joints!
• It responds to spin, yet has true bounce • The surface absorbs noise and echoes, and is glare free
• It does not get as hot as other artificial surfaces: it can be hosed down in very hot conditions to make it cooler • Spillage of food, drink or grease will not make the surface dangerous

• It is virtually impossible to vandalise; scraping or gouging merely displaces the sand infill.  Extreme pressure with a very sharp instrument would be required to reach and cut the carpet base • It can be used for a variety of sports: cricket, gymnastics, dancing, softball, hockey, bowls, netball, croquet, mini-golf, jogging, skittles, water games and exercising, all can be done on the synthetic surface
